Hi,

So I'm visiting WDW with my partner in December and am planning to do a single night at Pop Century to take advantage of airport lifts and advance fastpass, then move offsite for 10 nights. We wanted to purchase a three-day ticket for each of us without park hopper, ideally as a package with our room booking. However, after booking today I realised that the tickets said they were only valid through to the day we check out - not for a full 14 days like I was hoping.

Could someone please tell me whether it is possible to use these three-day tickets later in our trip than when we are staying on site, or whether it will just be safer to book tickets separately and then link them later, forgoing advanced fastpass, or if there's another option I'm missing?

Thanks!

(Apologies, I realise now that this would have been better suited to the theme parks thread but not sure how to move or delete!)

Package tickets complicate things and offer no advantage over separate tickets with regard to FPs, I don't recommend them if FP is an important part of your plans. You may find the FP FAQ helpful, particularly the posts about booking windows and split stays.

1. However, after booking today I realised that the tickets said they were only valid through to the day we check out - not for a full 14 days like I was hoping.

2. Could someone please tell me whether it is possible to use these three-day tickets later in our trip than when we are staying on site, or whether it will just be safer to book tickets separately and then link them later, forgoing advanced fastpass, or if there's another option I'm missing?

1. The tickets are valid for 14 days - where did you see that they're not?

2. You don't have to book a package to get the 60 day booking window, and you don't have to book an onsite reservation to book FP ahead of time. With an offsite reservation you can book 30 days in advance.

As far as I can tell there is not much advantage to booking a package. I'm sure someone can shed more light on the subject.

Thank you for your help!

I've attached a screenshot of the ticket in the MDE app, which is where it is showing the validity date, hopefully it works :) if not it's at http://imgur.com/a/itjbe

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into it :)

Buying the tickets separately and linking them later does not affect your ability to book advanced FastPass in any way.

This is how mine now show on the APP as well, though it doesn't show like this on the actual website. Mine will expire on 5/22/2018 according to the app. This is the day after my resort reservation is over.

Some WDW Resort Packages require that guests buy at least "minimum tickets" to take advantage
of the full package offerings. "Free Dining" is one that is the most common.

"Buy 4 days, get 7 days" (and similar) would be another popular (but much more rare) offer.
