The cost is $7.00 per night.

If you valet park at your resort, they just bill your room. They put a receipt on your dash stating you have already paid for valet parking that day so you can go and park at any of the other deluxe resorts without paying the $7.00.

If you dod not valet park at your resort and valet park at another resort (for a PS for example) you pay the $7.00 when you pick up the car.

The $7 fee does not include gratuties.

It is customary to tip whenever the car is returned to you. Consider $2 as a typical amount. Adjust upward or downward as you see fit, based on the quality of the service.

It is optional to tip when you drop off the car. Obviously, the valet attendants appreciate such tips.

Thanks for the help. That is great that if you valet park at your hotel that it covers other hotels also. We have Ps at various other deluxe hotels so that will come in handy.

It's nice to hear what others do about valet tipping. I always wonder about tipping when I drop off, since it's often not the same CM who brings it back, so I tip both ways, but often just $1.00 when leaving it and $2 when we pick it up.

If you're changing resorts during your stay you might also want to double check the room charge. Typically we haven't been charged valet fees on the day we check out but we were charged once at both the Poly and BC during a split stay.
It wouldn't have been an issue if I'd caught it right then but I live in denial and refuse to open that express check-out envelope before the credit card statement arrives.
I pout enough just having to come home...I don't even want to think about what it cost me - at least for a month or so anyway. Thankfully, those express envelopes aren't easy to see thru so I've never even been tempted...

Thanks for the advice. I will check the bill when it come for double billing. I always do because we usually have something wrong on it. They have always been easily fixed but I always check.
