Valet Parking?

I have a question regarding Valet Parking. I understand it's free for DVC members, does this include going to any resort. We're staying at OKW, we really wanted BWV or BCV, can we drive over to either of these and valet park for free?

Valet parking is free for DVC members at any resort that DVC villas (WL, BC, BW).

I've had the free valet honored at GF and CR, but they aren't really supposed to.

While staying at BCV recently, I mentioned to the Valet that were were going to Ohana's for dinner. He gave me a property wide valet pass to put in my window.

But on another night we went to AKL and were able to valet park for free without the pass. I think as long as you have the member pass you get during checkin in your window, the valets don't charge you the $6.

We have been allowed to park at GF if we are eating at one of the restaurants there. We also parked in the self-park lot across the street. When we eat at Yachtman's Steakhouse at YC, we have had to pay valet each time because the parking lot was full so we couldn't self park.

We have also gone to Port Orleans and some other resorts and they have waved us through at the gate, but we self-park and don't use valet service.

Some resorts give free valet parking...we were given this at the AKL, but we were charged the valet fee at the Grand Floridean. I don't thinkl the CMs always know who gets it and who doesn't. For the record, neither did we until the fellow at the GF told us. We thought we were allowed free valet before then. Sandie

In addition to DVC members receiving complimentary valet parking at DVC resorts, any guest with handicapped tags also receives complimentary valet parking.
