Hi all,

Please answer a question for this newbie. Our home resort is BWV.

If we stay off site, are we still entitled to free valet parking as a DVC member if we visit BW, or another DVC resort? Or must we be staying on site?

Thanks!

You don't have to be staying onsite, just show your blue member card.

THanks! I did not know if that would be a violation of the rules.

JandD Mom,
I'm not sure what will happen. They have changed the lingo on the members web site:
"Valet Parking at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Valet parking is complimentary for Members staying at Disney's BoardWalk Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Beach Club Resort. Just show your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card. Parking is not available for Theme Park access."

I'm pretty sure that the DVC web site did not used to say "for members staying at" ...

link to a previous discussion...

As you can see from the discussion (in the link), maybe nothing has really changed. Let us know how it works out.

Yep. It used to say something along the lines of "regardless where you are staying."

Not anymore.

This was checked with MS a while back. No change in policy.
