If you valet park at a resort, does anyone know if the attendant locks your car?

I sure hope so!

We've used valet parking and thankfully never had an issue - and we've left iPads, sunglasses, and occasionally my purse inside the car

I would assume all valet parking lock the car, but I would also never leave things of obvious value in the vehicle.

They should lock the car, but that doesn’t mean valuables are safe in your car. There have been break-ins in resort lots and theme park lots.

^^ Consistent with my earlier remark, you should NEVER leave things of obvious value (i.e. purse, wallet, ID, passport, cash, camera, PC.....etc.) in your car when valet parking, regardless of whether or not the car will be locked. Even when self-parking, you invite issues when you leave valuable items in view in the car. If cash, for example, is gone when you get your valet parked car returned, you can't prove what is missing and there are signs that indicate they are NOT responsible for personal valuables.
