Valet Parking for non-resort guests?

What is the current policy if we are staying offsite but want to Valet park at a resort? In the past this has always been allowed, but I know it's been a number of years. Do you need to have an ADR at that resort?
Also, if you Valet at a resort in the morning, but want to park hop in the afternoon, will your parking receipt allow you to park at another park?

Valet parking at a resort is only for guests having business at that resort. If you have an ADR you'll be allowed to park there while you eat. Without an ADR you'll be turned away at the guard shack.

Not since covid, but for several years just prior. We often parked at BW valet to visit Abracadabar, the brew pub, or Jellyrolls. (We use to live in Orlando)
The guard did not want us to park in general parking, but valet was okay.

I agree - the prohibition against parking at a resort if you don’t have an ADR is to prevent people from using the resorts as free parking lots for the parks. Valet parking costs more than park parking, so it’s open to anyone.

Does anyone know the answer to the 2nd part of my question? If we have a ticket/receipt from valet parking earlier in the day, will we have to pay for parking when we park hop later in the afternoon?

Right now, it's much harder to park at the resorts without an ADR. Covid rules are still in effect for that sort of thing. Not sure how differently they're treating valet vs normal parking tho. I also believe the 3 hour limit still applies, because they don't want you parking at a resort just to go to a park. Naturally, resort parking is for resort guests (you're a guest at the resort whether you're actually staying there, or just eating there, etc.), not park guests. Valet parking at a resort is not related to the parks and would be a separate charge.

That addresses parking at a "hopped" to park after paying to park at another park. As mentioned above, they are not allowing parking at a resort without an ADR or being a guest right now (post-Covid). And if you have an ADR your parking is free. So you would have to pay to to park at the second park you enter if you didn't pay to park at another park in the morning.
