Valet Parking at the Dolphin ?

If I recall correctly the last time we stayed at the GF we used the valet and when we went to dinner at the other resorts we could use the valet free of charge as we had already paid the valet fee for the day. Does anyone know if you stay at the Dolphin and pay for the valet if you can use the valet at the Disney resorts in the same way? Only 23 days to go !

Unfortunately the S/D are on a separate valet service so you would actually have to pay for valet again if you go to a Disney resort even if you pay at the S/D for valet that day.

If you have a DDE card then you can valet free at all the Disney resorts (excluding the S/D). You just need to show your card. We always self-park at the S/D, but valet at the resorts when dining.

It might even be better to get to the Dolphin using Disney transportation if you can. I think they are charging for self parking now, also. Something like $7/day?

That's a great idea for those trying to save $$$. This time around we have rental for nearly free thanx to FF miles. We also have a great rate on the CL level in the Dolphin that saved us over $1,000 over the rate we had previously booked for two nights at the AKL concierge level and three nights at the the GF garden view. The Dolphin is very central to the things we want to see this time and my frugal side took over. I'm still happy even with a parking fee. Three weeks and counting !
