Valet parking and tipping

I understand that valet parking is $22 per night, but when do you pay this? Do you pay the valet or does the hotel charge it to your account? Also, when would you tip? Both before and after or only when they retrieve your car?

When staying at one of Universal's hotel you will be charged for the valet parking on your bill at check out. As for tipping, we always give a tip to the person that helps us unload the car when we arrive, and then we tip the guy that gets the car on checkout, we don't use the car anyother time while at Universal. If we did, we would do like we do when we valet at Disney, we tip the guy that gets the car each time and we also tip the guy when we drop the car back off.
