What'd be a good place for a VDay dinner? Quaint & quiet comes to mind. Maybe kind of dark...a bit of "mood" lighting...you get the picture. :love2: We don't have to go all out...and actually, casual is sometimes better.

Whatdya think?

If the budget will allow, V&A is the top choice. If not, I would suggest Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish or Jiko. Make your ADR for after 8. Often the restaurants are quieter then.

First time Judy and I went to V&A was on a Valentine's Day. Wonderful!

I have an evening Valentines ADR for Fultons Crabhouse. Thought it would be romantic and a little less "Disney".....(fewer tired, cranky children)

Dh and I went to Yachtsman Steakhouse for VDay this past Feb. It was also our 35th Anniversary. I wouldn't call it romantic. It wasn't dimly lit and it was rather noisy. The restaurant that I would recommend is Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian. Once it begins to get dark out, they do dim the lights (every day-- not just VDay) and it is overlooking the water. Every table -- whether next to the window or not-- has a view of the water. Even when crowded, it does not seem to be as noisy as some other restaurants. And, DH and I have found the food to be excellent and served with elegance. We've been there twice and loved it both times.

We're going to Chefs de France for Valentine's Day. (We cannot get too romantic -- we're traveling with another couple. :))
