As I have said a couple of times in this thread, had she said a sentence or two about her faith guiding her or keeping her strong, I have no problem with that. But instead she used her speach to preach the word of HER God to a captive audience who possibly do not hold the same tenets. That is morally dispicable.
It doesn't really matter WHAT the speech was about. The point is that the school administration felt it was inappropriate and informed her of this. She submitted a new speech and then gave the original one, and faced the consequences of her actions. Or should Christians not have consequences when their actions are done in the name of God?
Using that train of thought, it's OK to bomb an abortion clinic possibly killing a nun who happens to be walking outside at the time.
