We plan to stop for the evening at Valdosta on our next trip to WDW. We will be driving on I-75. If we leave when planned, we'll arrive in Valdosta in late afternoon/early evening. We would like to stay near a mall and restaurants so that we can walk around after 12+ hours in the car.
With all that said, we have narrowed down our options for overnight lodging to three hotels at Exit 18: Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Suites, and La Quinta Inn & Suites. I have looked at all of them on Trip Advisor and they all get similar reviews. We just want a clean, safe place to spend the night, and one that has an easy checkout policy so we can get on the road as early as possible and get to Disney World. We would also like a decent continental breakfast option, IF it is served early enough. We are on a budget, too.
If anyone has stayed in any of the above mentioned hotels, I would love to hear about your experiences. Thanks!
Also, how far in advance should I book my hotel. Honestly, just looking at the prices I am leaning towards the La Quinta.
