Valdosta area hotels

Ok we are thinking of stopping here for the night before we continue on to Disney. Does anyone have any hotels they can reccomend? We are looling for something cheap, with a pool (can you swim outside in s. georgia in oct?) and free breakfast.

Also does anyone know how long from Valdosta it is to Disney?

My first choices would be the Country Inn & Suites, with the Jameson Inn a close second. I've never had a bad experience with either; the last Country Inn I stayed at was simply immacualate. The Jameson Inn (particularly interior-corridor Jameson's) is nice, but typically less expensive.

Both have a free breakfast; the Country Inn has an indoor pool.

Valdosta has tons of hotels along interstate you will have no trouble finding one with outdoor pool or an indoor one. and i want to say that you are maybe about 3 and a half hours from disney from there.
