is it worth it to skip an afternoon from the parks to visit here?

That completely depends on whether or not you want to skip the park to go shopping.
It's a shopping mall, so that's your own choice.
The mall is pretty big with great shops and restaurants. So it's worth a visit.
But wether or not it's worth skipping the park for... you have to make that decision yourself.

I'm not the one who would want to miss out on any minute at the park.
So I personally would probably add an extra day to visit Val d'Europe.
But I don't know if you would do the same thing.

As above, if you like shopping you'll love it, personally I wouldn't give up Disney time for it. We did last year because we had a whole week at dlp, long summer days and it was our 10th visit, so could afford a few hours away from the park, but I've done it now so probably wouldn't bother again

Looks very nice over Christmas, and has a great supermarket if you're staying somewhere like the DCR and want to stock up....otherwise, not that special to be honest and not that cheap

Same - we did it last summer for an afternoon - but I wouldn't rush back - think my eldest kids and DH may go this time for a wander, but I'll be in the park

You have to walk all the way through the Precinct to get to Sea Life, so you'll get to see the stores anyway again we went there last year i had cheap tickets through Groupon, if you've done Sea Life in the UK you're not going to be overwhelmed by the VdeE one. We probably spent an hour maybe hour and a half in there if you really want to spend some time from the park and dont want to do the obvious -Paris, maybe Parc des Felins would be worth considering ?
