Vacuum Sealer machines

Returned the food saver from Kohl’s and plan on getting the one from sams club. It’s the$179 one and it’s on sale for $139. Anyone have the one from sams? Let me know how you like it.

Vacuuming fresh fruit. Does it last longer if so how much longer

- cut apples
-strawberries
-blackberries
-blueberries

-fresh cut up zucchini do I need to do anything to it if I plan on using it in 1-2 weeks?

I've had a Foodsaver ever since they hit the market. (My Mom got us one from QVC long before there was an Internet)
About two years ago the pump gave out and it was so old that they couldn't repair it.
I bought a new one from Amazon and it works as well as the first one did.
If you're going to vacuum fresh berries you will need to freeze them if you're using the bags, or use a mason jar attachment, or the plastic canisters that they sell on the Foodsaver site, otherwise you'll have mushed fresh berries.
