can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong? I put the clothes in and zip it shut, and take the vacumn and get the air out, and it looks great, but then a few hours later, its back to the normal size and not compressed anymore!
help!

Sounds like an air leak. Double check to make sure the zipper is in fact sealing the bag (mine doesn't reliably, I just use my hands). Otherwise, you might have a hole in the bag.

I used about 2 dozen of these when we moved last summer. A few had similar issues where I sucked the air out and left it to only return to find that i had to do it again. I would look to see if you zipped it properly, then check to see that you are below the "capacity" line. That might be the culpret if you are too close to it. In my case that was the problem a few times. Otherwise if neither is the issue I would consider returning the bags and getting a new set.

Thanks. I will try again. these are brand new bags, I figured the other ones might be to old and the zipper not sealing so I replaced them. ther are no holes that I can see

I had the same problem, bought some and about half would work right. I never have figured out what the problem was. I contacted the company and the only thing they had to say was the seal where you put the cap on may not be on just right. No matter how I played with it, those bags never did work. Never figured out the problem. :confused3 Just passed it by as one of those products that may or may not work!
