Vaccination card-just the card?

Hi! In my cruise specific group, they are talking about the vaccine card and one poster is insisting that we need something with a QR code to complete safe passage. We don’t have that. I have all 4 of our vaccination cards that were filled out at the separate times we were all vaccinated. Anyone have recent experience here that could let me know if I am missing something?

We just sailed to Alaska on the Wonder a couple of weeks ago and we only had to scan in our cards. You will have to upload your Covid test results once you do them, but nothing we uploaded for any of these had QR codes.

You upload your vax cards to safe passage--not a QR code. Safe passage then has a QR code you can present at port to show if you're clear to arrive/clear to sail. I'm pretty sure it's also linked to the PAT code as well as we just had to present 1 doc to be scanned at Port Canaveral.

Neither of our cards do and they were accepted for our cruise and for ArriveCan to enter Canada.
