How dare I say it right. But being a Central FL resident, WDW and Universal are not my vacation destinations. My DH and I are going to Ohio to vist Cedar Point and Kings Dominion this June for a week and I cannot wait.

So if you are going somewhere besides WDW, where are you going?

We're going to Sanibel Island before we go to WDW, does that count? :)

I'm actually very much looking forward to our week in Sanibel Island, even more so than our trip to WDW. After this horrendous winter we have had, I need a beach to lay on.

I've finally gotten DH hooked on Albuquerque, NM and the surrounding areas. :)

Next task -- get him up to Yellowstone. :D

We're going to Bilioxi this weekend and hopefully Las Vegas for the Fourth of July. DH and I actually have a long list of vacations we want to take, and even prioritized them by year and Before Kids and After Kids type vacations. Our next "real" vacation (not weekend trip) will be a week at the beach, probably Key West.

Our favorite vacation destination is California. We visited the central & northern coastal areas last summer & FELL IN LOVE!!!!!!! Best vacation ever!

We always try to go to the Caribbean once a year. It's just so relaxing!

We go to Costa Rica. Hopefully we will be going again in July:D

We are going to (after we get off our Disney Cruise) Savannah, GA; Hilton Head Island, SC; Norfolk, VA; and then Cedar Point on our way home in July. Then in December we are going to Williamsburg, VA for Christmas - a trip I am really looking forward too - hoping my aunt and uncle will not have moved from there so we can spend the holiday with them since both of their kids will be out of state by then.

We're going to San Antonio and Hill Country this weekend and I expect that we'll be back later this summer. I would also like to visit New Orleans and Las Vegas this year if possible.

Dpending on $$$ I may try to surprise DH with a short getaway(1 night) to Foxwoods Casino for his birthday in July.

Nope, WDW is where I go. A few weekend trips on the bike to the mountains, but that's not a vacation.

you mean...there are other vacation destinations besides WDW?? oh the horror!! ;)

actually, since we're building a house, our vacation has been postponed for this year. :( the closest we will have to a "going out of town" vacation we'll get is our weekend at King's Island in May! we're heading there, staying overnight, and coming home after a full day in the park. it'll be fun!! we're going with Disney845 and her SO...i'm looking forward to it!

but alas, we don't get another "REAL" vacation until 2004. we're hoping to squeeze a quick trip to las vegas in there somehow, but we have WDW planned for December 2004...

I'll be in CA for a solo trip to Disneyland next month (does that count?). I'll drive my son to church camp in PA at the end of June, and will probably continue on to Washington, D.C. and VA Beach to visit friends and relatives (also solo). In July, we're going on a family vacation to Vancouver and Seattle.

I love going to WDW, but I would never make it my only vacation destination.

July 3-6 Indian Head, NH
July 18-24 Best Western, Seabrook, NH
Aug 16-19 Kings & Queens campground, Maine
Nov 6-15 - Disney Western cruise

We travel to the southwest since our daughter is in school out there, we love to cruise and try to get one in each year, usually a few weekends in NYC, and whatever else comes up. We were in WDW in Dec., Jan. and Feb. so I don't think we'll go back until Christmas unless we sneak in a long weekend before then.

We also live pretty close to Disney, so we get the benefit of quick trips. We have spent a few vacations at the resorts though.

Chicago is one of our favorite vacation spots, with and without the kids. We'll be up there this July. As usual DH bought the Cubs tickets before we have hotel ressies or plane tickets!

Sanibel is our favorite adult only getaway. Snoopy you will love it!

Our other big vacation this year is our first ever Disney Cruise! Only 30 more days!!!

I will be going to Phoenix in July to play some golf and for a friends wedding. I made the same trip last year and it was great.

We are planning a trip to the Williamsburg/Richmond VA this summer. We plan on visiting some historical sites and also attend a roller coaster convention in the area.

Our next trip will probably be to Myrtle Beach. My mother is itching for us to come visit. Along with seeing the family we usually get to do some touristy stuff, too.
