Vacation Wishlist- Sorry Long
After the family vaca in August we'll have 132 points left until June 2004. Just purchased DVC in October 2002. Made ressies for upcoming May (52 points- bringing DS#3) and banked the rest for 2003 use year.
Would like DH and DS#2 to go in November in Studio for 4 nites
and send DS#3 with friends in January for Grad present for 4 or 5 nites most likely 1b (plays baseball can't go in June of 2004).
Now i've decided that me and the gals need to get out of town in october of 2003, would like a 1b.

Question #1 If I own at BC but want ressies at BW standard view because of the lower point value what are my chances?

Question #2 Would it be easier to rent BW points for one of these trips, so if I couldn't get Standard view at 7 months or less i'd have enuf of my own points to book at BC.

Question #3 Can I book bw using some of my BC points and renting some if I do not have enuf for the whole ressie?

Sorry this is so long. Appreciate all the information I've gotten from this board, its a great source of knowledge.

IF I understand your questions, I don't think you have a complete understanding of the system.

The points you need are points for Oct Nov 2003, yes? So why do you need to borrow 2003 points... The reservation is in your 2003 use year so you may use June 2002 points that you banked already or June 2003 points that you have (or June 2004 points that you will borrow if needed.) The 11 month window for that time is coming up now. You do not need to have the points now to make the reservation..you need to have the points at the actual time of the stay.
