vacation/travel insurance

I'm a travel agent and recommend either Travel Safe or TravelEx to my clients. I've had clients file claims with both and they've always had their claims paid with little fuss.

If you're booking a Diseny trip (WDW or DL) I usually just recommend that people just insure their airline tickets, as Disney's cancelation policy is pretty decent. Also, be sure to purchase the insurance within 14 days of booking your trip so it will cover any pre-existing illness.

I highly recommend fully insurring all cruise trips (even Disney) as there are a lot more variables with cruise vacations, and it also gives you medical coverage while out of the country.

I normally never get the insurance, but for our last trip in January, I decided it may be a wise choice. We have a trip booked for August (hurricane season) & plan to get the insurance -looks like we will be rescheduling though. Whatever insurance comes with booking through Disney for us!

I have used insuremytrip.com, with great success :thumbsup2

It took less than 2 weeks to be refunded in 2004 and during High Hurricane Season.
