We do too...Two, as a matter of fact! I couldn't travel without 'em.

I see many of you change up your BC pills to alter your period. My tubes are tied & I have no need for BC. Would a gyn give me BC just so I could avoid a vacation period? Would I suffer crazy, hormonal side effects?I'm a total germ-freak & the diva-cup thing is not something I can stomach. (Not trying to offend anyone, it's just not an option for me.)

My husband had a vaso, so I have no need for BC either, but I'm on it because it regulates my AF. So I'd say yep, no problem!
This thread is awesome. I love it. THANKS for all the great advice ladies.I'm going in August with 5 other women and I'm gonna share all this great info with them. Yikes!!
5 women and one bathroom at the FW cabins.
Actually, I can't wait![]()
I am so glad to be of serviceI use aerosol deoderant under the girls- but I am sure any would work. Roll on is too "wet" for me personally.
As for the BC pills- I asked my Dr. and she would. I had my tubes tied after my twins, because once you start having them 2 at a time for me it was time to STOP that train LOL. Any ways- she said that she would but she was concerned about blood clots. I was a smoker at the time. She wanted me to stop every 2 hours and walk. So I said forget it I would take my chances.
When I travel I am often mommy/coach. So I have to be prepared for just about everything known to man. I love my shoe organizers and tackle boxes...
Ok, now a question for all of you ladies. I got BURNT bad this weekend. I have never burned in my life- I am on HRT now that I had my hysterectomy, but anyways - I had on SPF 30 and I have freakin BLISTERS on my back I am burnt so bad. So give me the magic remedies for that![]()
I use a solid roll on deo for under the ****s. Just what I prefer and goes on smooth. I dont use the gel ones for under my ****s, just the solid ones.
So tell me about Lush shampoo- also do you use any of the facial cleaners? I have ACNE- not the teenage kind, I have used everything under the sun...
QUESTION?
have any of you used a shower curtain as a privacy screen between the beds and the bathroom? We will be staying at POP and I need to know if I need a shower rod or a tension rod to fit across there because I don't know how wide it is. Any ideas?![]()
Great tip! When we are on hot, poolside vacations we always do our sunscreen before we leave the room, and the days we try and do it poolside are the days we burn!I use a sports sunscreen (I prefer Coppertone). It is sweat proof and doesn't seem to run and doesn't really have that sunscreen smell, and I use a different sunscreen for the face. I always put sunsreen on in the room before ever hitting the parks. Why? Because you can get bettter coverage, it's cooler in the room, it's easier to get sunscreen on the kids if they have the Disney channel to keep them busy, for that matter DH too.
By the time you reach the parks the lotion has had time to set, and you should be good till lunch time then reapply. This is a tired a true tip. I'm a Florida Girl and have very fair skin and this has worked for me always.![]()
For a while, I was considering POP, but we became a party of 5, so we're staying at Port Orleans Resort. But I did read the POP FAQs and I remember reading this:
"If you need additional privacy from the vanity area or if you're looking to darken the sleeping area while youre getting ready in the morning, pack a tension rod and shower curtain w/rings or a regular curtain. Place this between the vanity area and the bed area. The width of this "doorway" is 38", so plan accordingly. An alternative is to use two Command Adhesive (removable) Hooks and hang shower curtain on the hooks."
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
