I just want some general ideas... If you have been with your company for 10 years, approximately how many weeks of vacation do you get? How is sick leave calculated?

I think 10 years where I work gets you 30 days time off plus 8 days of holidays. Our sick time is in that 30 days though but if you are like me, I use 90% of my vacation for that or "personal" days.

10 years at my company is 3 weeks vacation, all bank holidays, 5 sick days and 2 'personal' days. We get another week at 15 years. :(

I get no weeks off. I would say 3-4 weeks for 10 years would be normal. Sick days calculated??

You're on a vacation roll, jamsmom. :)

Yes...on a vacation roll. I will be doing some negotiating for 2003 :) Wanting to decide how far to push/pull

We earn vacation and sick hours. For every month of 100% FTE (full time equivalent), we get 16 hours vacation and 12 hours sick. Maximum vacation accrual is 480 hours, and 360 for sick.
