Vacation Strategy Confirmation Email Timeline

Just called WBC...double checked our reservation. They have our name on the reservation, and I put in our tower request. I asked for Tower 6, lake view, higher floor. I cant wait to get on the road! Two weeks from tomorrow

Are you saying that you cant get ahold of VS? I have been able to get them every time I call. Why havent you paid for the last 6 nights? I got an email from them with a link to pay...although the link didnt work and I had to go through the main page.

Every time I call it goes to voicemail. They call back but I'm not always able to grab my phone. I got the email with the link to pay and the amount was for only 8 nights, not for 14. I paid for the first 8 nights immediately. I'm not paying for the last 6 until I get confirmation of the reservation.

I called WBC and they have us checking out on the 21st and not the 27th. VS says the reservation is secured but no one has confirmation of it. We leave a week from today.

Goodness...that sounds like a mess. VS should be getting on the phone and take care of this for you. Hopefully it will get resolved ASAP

Just seeing this info about VS, VU, and 5 star. I'm traveling to Orlando in less than 30 days to be exact I'm arriving on Halloween. Is it too late for me to use one of these places to get reservations at BC? I wish I would have seen this a long time ago. I've been waiting for a deal thru Wyndham currently I'm booked at Sheraton vistana resort for 156/night in a 2 bdrm but we really want to stay at BC. I've emailed them all to see if anyone can give me a quote. Just worried its too last minute...

I would try calling VS directly. Usually when I email them it takes a few days for me to get a response. When I have called, I get answers immediatly They have been very friendly and nice to work with.

Thanks. I called VS and they don't have anything. 5 star has 3 days and I'm still waiting for the other from ken. Ugh I wish I would have seen this in August. The price per night online non refundable is 242/night and I can't really justify paying that when I'm paying 156/nite at Sheraton. I'm pretty mad at myself for not researching this more earlier. Wyndham has deals going just none that appy to BC

Ken was able to get me a reservation so we will be staying at WBC after all I will have 3 reservations but ken says they will just leave me in 1 room once he combines them together for me. So excited. Now i need to start looking at the bldgs so I can see where I may want to request. Thanks to u all for posting this thread. I got a great deal and am able to stay T the resort I wanted

Hi Blessed! We will be at WBC 10/20 - 10/28. Still awaiting our confirmation email, but SO looking forward to our stay. I believe they said we'd likely be in Tower 6 ($ br pres unit). You won't be able to miss us - DH and I have 5 boys (ages 12 - turning 13 on the trip, 11, 9 ans 2 almost 3 year olds), a set of fab grandparents and my niece and nephew. 11 folks total! We are doing the AK YES class on 10/23 and the Party on 10/23 as well. Our park days are... 10/20 - DTD, 10/21 - Epcot, 10/22 - DHS, 10/23 above, 10/24 - waterpark and MK, 10/25 - Epcot am, waterpark in afternoon and F&W at night, 10/26 - MK, 10/27 - Ak and DHS, 10/28 - MK and leave for home. How about you guys?

We're going to the AK YES class on 10/23 too. I have DS 8 & 10. Staying at WBC 10/19 to 10/30. So excited and thankful for all the good info from DIS!!

We received our confirmation/final payment email yesterday and we leave on December 1st. So that was 53 days out.

We apparently have 3 owners and 5 different confirmations and we've only received 2 of the 5. They did say our final night is booked through an owner who won't even assign our name to the reservation until 24 hours before the stay. That still leaves 5 nights completely unaccounted for.

I asked the guy from VS if he could send me an email stating this just so I would have record of SOMETHING for those final nights before I left considering the only things I have are a quote for 14 nights, a receipt from my deposit and then confirmation and receipt for 8 nights only. No email. And I've left another message today with no response.

The whole thing is making me so incredibly nervous. We leave Friday morning. I'm trying hard not to stress, but we're just not having a good experience with VS right now.

Bless your heart ! I do hope that things work out for you. I don't remember ever hearing of something like this happening with VS. Maybe they are getting a little frazzled with all of the fast growth they have experienced?

Again, I feel for you and hope that things turn out positively for you (which I bet that they will).

Hi this is my first post here but I read on the boards all the time! I am having the same problem with Vacation Strategy not sending me my confirmation email to pay my balance off. We are staying Nov 2-9 in a 3 bdrm deluxe. I have been told that I have have a secure reservation that is guaranteed, however, the owner they went through will not allow them to put my information into the system until 24 hrs before my stay so I have absolutely no way to call WBC to confirm my reservation! I have been on the phone with VS many times and they assure me my reservation is secure but I don't feel comfortable like the other poster said bc i "have no proof"! Also, they told me all the confirmation email is a link to their home page to make a payment so I don't have to wait for the email and can pay my balance off directly on their website. I guess I'll just have to hope for the best!

I think you should trust them. It's not like this is a scam and they are lying to you. Hundreds of people have had wonderful stays at WBC booking through them. I wouldn't like it either, but if they say the owner won't add you until 24 hours prior, that's the truth.

The last thing anyone needs when planning a trip of this magnitude is a situation that creates an element of uncertainty and stress. We are pretty sure we want to stay at Bonnet Creek for our next trip and I have been keeping an eye on this thread and others for an idea of who I should consider booking our stay with. I hope everything works out for you and that you and your family have a magical trip.

I can only imagine the stress you are going through right now. I know it would be making me incredibly nervous as you mentioned. My reservation with VS has so far gone without a hitch, and they have us confirmed for 15 nights. We are arriving the same day as you guys And we are also planning on doing MNSSHP on Sunday night as well. (p.s. I read and very much enjoyed your pre-trip report... thanks for sharing!) If you see a short blonde woman with spiders all over her back at MNSSHP, that'll be me! LOL

Like most of us here, we've all read these threads from back to front and front to back... so, you know that VS has a great record on here and if they say it's all taken care of, maybe try and take that for what it's worth and trust that their reputation is important to them, so I'm sure they will get it all sorted for you. Just kinda wished they'd done it a little sooner, eh? I'm wishing you tons of luck and sending some good vibes your way!
