So if you read my last post, you know my dad passed away, so we didn't go our on planned vacation (which was supposed to be April 1-7). We just rebooked for May 7-13. We luckily got our money back from orbitz for our disney tickets. So now we need to find disney tickets again. We have 3 adults and 2 kids. We are only needing 2 day base tickets. What is our best bet?
Also, any universal deals? We're considering doing a day there.
What about wonder works and the magic dinner show they have...any deals?
Thanks!

I can't help you with what is the best price, but I hated seeing so many views and no responses. Hopefully someone will get you an answer soon. I have a trip coming up next month and I just got the package through disney and got my 2 day passes that way.

Sorry about your dad. :(

 So sorry about your dad. I'm glad you and your family were able to re-book the trip.

How about tickets through Triple A? (if you have AAA)

We use Undercover Tourist, but I don't think that there is much savings on 2 day tickets. You could try though. Sign up NOW for the Mousesavers newsletter. It comes out on the 15th of the month with the special link to the lowest prices at UT.

Disney doesn't sell one- and two-day tickets at a discount so in general the ones you see at UT and other resellers will be the same price as buying from Disney. I have read on here that the Walmart in Kissimmee, I think, does sell them at a small discount. You might as well buy them at the gate.

Why did you return the tickets from orbitz? If you did thee bates deal, that's probably the best price you'll find. The tickets would still be good no matter when you go.

I thought this too. OP I'm sorry about your dad.

Because when you buy them, you have to put in a date for pick up. I called and informed them of what had happened and ask if I could change my pick up date. After waiting on hold for over 45 minutes, he came back and said I could NOT change my date. I was to pick them up on April 1, or lose out. So I requested a refund.

I'm pretty sure he was misinformed. You should have been able to get the MyMagic codes and "claimed" them on the My Disney Experience website. Picking them up isn't really necessary; and, even then, you should be able to pick them up any time.
