Vacation Planning video

Our Vacation planning video arrived today. I ordered it a few weeks ago after recieving an on-line invitation to order one.

When asked about what interests us I checked Magical Gatherings - have a family of 7, so just a few more would make us a gathering - LOL! I am sorry that I did that

The kit they sent us, even the movie, is geared towards the Magical Gatherings. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I really wanted a movie about WDW. We have one from last year that DD watches everyday. She calls it the "Disney Castle Movie". I was looking forward to a new movie similar to that one.

Does anyone know if there is another vacation planning video?

I don't really know the answer to this question but I don't think there's another one. Mine also highlighted Magical Gatherings ( which seems to be their promotion this year). It seems to me that when the 100 year celebration was their promotion that was the video focus too. So, I think they focus on their "big" draw for that year. Does that make sense?

I was disappointed too. Everything was focused on the magical gatherings, and we only have 3 of us. My son was totally bored and we never did finish the video.

I suspect they're sending EVERYONE the Magical Gatherings video!

There's only BF and I, and I didn't check off anything to indicate otherwise, and we still got that one! (Thank goodness I still have my old videos...)

Do you mean the Planning video you order on line at Disney site? I had previously ordered the video, but read the dvd is better and I ordered it. It is fantastic! Lots of other stuff. If you just hit play there is a bunch of stuff about the magiacal gatherings, but if you choose which sections you want to view there is tons of other information. Mini clips of rides, pleasure island, sections on the resorts, one section just on the characters which my son wants to watch over and over and over and....
