Hello! Well If I can get the money in time I want to take my mom on a small disneyland trip next year, and I wanted to do something just small just to say thanks so....I been looking at the different threads and i see gift baskets, treats in your room and that looked interesting so I guess my real Q is what is vacation planning (i think thats what its called), how do i order treats that will arrive in our room before we get there? is there a sight for the different treats and such? anyone have pictures of some treats that they recomend?
I'm sorry if I have lack of spelling, horribly written, I've been very busy this morning! I'm a newbie to DLR trip planning and such so I'm pretty clueless:lmao:
Thanks!

sorry if this ends up as a double thread my computer is acting up

Staying onsite gives you access to the Vacation Planning people. They do have access to the special things you can order, and they can also make Priority Seating arrangements for you for restaurants, the Fantasmic special seating, and so on. They basically act as something of a true concierge at a higher end hotel, but it's available to all people staying onsite. :)

You can find their number on the disneyland website...I generally see it when I go to a hotel page, it's usually over on the left.

Oh great I can't find it now. Hotel Operator:
(714) 778-6600 might be able to put you through.

I don't know of anywhere official that has pictures, it's really annoying. Those things are *expensive* and I want to see things! But you can contact them and have them send an email describing things.

The unpackaged food type treats, however, can be described and explained by VP, but you'll actually contact the room service people about it, unless that has changed since I last looked into it.

Ok, I just hope their not to expensive:) So basically once I book my trip I can look into things such as this? I might try to do the Fantasmic snack box/priority seating because everytime I see a picture of the snack box I suddenly get really hungry :P That would lead me to another question, How many days in advance would I have to book the Fantasmic seating?
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this site, without you guys I think I would be truley lost around the parks

Yep, once you book it you get access to them!

The F! seating is either 30 or 60 days out for arrangements.

I agree about the helpfulness of the site! I didn't use this site for our very first trip (I think I used a tiny yahoo group? and some guidebooks) and we went in '05...I didn't even realize that we were there for the 50th anniversary, didn't realize Space had been closed for a years' long refurb, etc etc. Had no idea! Oh to go back and appreciate being there so much more!

Ok thank you for the information I truley appreciate it :) Oh I know, I went to DLR 2 years ago and I was just I guess in best words, ignorant:rolleyes:

I've learned so much from this amazeing site and the people here are truley just so friendly and welcomeing (it took me back a little at first )

I have friends going in three weeks so I checked vacation planners for them. There are some expensive things and not so expensive things. I saw some of the baskets on the Disney website. I googled Disneyland Vacation Planners and they had a few things. When I called, a CM e-mailed me a list of options.
We really loved the Fantasmic viewing. We snacked on those goodies for several days because there was so much of it! Electric Light parade was not offered at the time we were there in November. They also have a viewing area for that at DCA which includes a meat and cheese tray with drinks for the same price as the Fantasmic package

oh ok! Where exactly are you for the F! seating?

If you look at a map, you will see there is a sidewalk that wraps around the River of Americas. Then there is a wide stoop between Pirates and HM. They rope that off and you enter on the HM side. The lowest part of the stoop is free seating and F! viewers are on the upper level so you don't get wet.
