Hi, I'm Magicaldisney11's older sis "Tink". I really can't wait for our vacation together. Since she is my first younger sister I will call her Dsis#1 or one of the fairygodmothers from any of the Disney movies. Dsis1 is always trying to grant someone's wish if she hears about it.

Now, about our vacation, my DH and I (unfortunately we have no children of our own) will be arriving May 16th and will be staying with Dsis#1 and family at FQ. My husband will already be in Orlando for his annual golf trip. We will spend the the first two days relaxing by the pool, reading, swimming and have one or two drinks, thats what we do best on our vacations, just ask anyone in my family. We are also Disney Vacation Club owners since 1995 and we know how very lucky we are to have this.

My sister is very, very organized and so is my husband - I am not (I am tinkerbell) I fly by the seat of my pants I don't worry because things always get done and I always pack at the last minute and have everything I need. My husband and I each pack our own suitcases and he is always prepared before I am and I applaud him for that. DH travels alot so he has his own system. We will be married 24yrs this coming May so we kindof have our own routine for things. I love the fact that my Dsis#1 has as much fun planning her trip as she does when she's on her trip. With having four boys (that she raised pretty much by herself) she had to be that way. I love her charts she sends me by e-mail. I also know when she calls me on the phone that 8 out of 10 times the conversation or question is about Disney.

That's ok sometimes alittle Disney helps you get through the tough times in your life. As Magicaldisney11 said earlier in one of her posts we lost our Dad this year (it was unexpected) and he loved Disney and HE was really loved and admired. My Dad and Mom came down the last 10 years with my husband and I when we would visit in September. We know he will definately be with us in spirit and my Mom is coming with my DH and my other Dsis and nieces this coming September at OKW.

I saw my Dsis#1 plans and she is usually very good in keeping with her schedule. We'll see how this will all work out. I will give my layout of our trip with Dsis#1 that we will try to follow, with her, as much as possible.
I make no promises.(lol) We always have a good time though and I love my nephews (and like to spoil them) so we'll see how much my Dsis#1 and DH will have to do to keep my nephew's and (myself) in line. Just kidding sort of.

By the way Dsis#1 or Magicaldisney11, thanks for my Disney name "Tink" (its the same nickname for one of our cat's.....tinkerbell) and yes my DH can definately be the Cheshire Cat in so many ways.

Well thank you for reading, and to anyone leaving for Disney tomorrow have a safe and wonderful trip. God Bless and HAVE FUN!!!!!

Effective March 30, 2009, Disney's Magical Express will no longer offer luggage delivery service for arrivals to the Orlando International Airport after 10 p.m. Guests arriving at the airport after 10 p.m. will pick up their luggage at the baggage claim and take it with them to the Magical Express motor coach to their resort. This will allow late-arriving guests using Magical Express to have more immediate access to their luggage. Luggage delivery service will still be provided for Magical Express and Disney Cruise Line guests traveling to Walt Disney World for a resort stay who arrive on flights beginning at 5 a.m. until 10 p.m.

San Angel Inn in Epcot's Mexico pavilion will close for renovation beginning May 10, 2009. No other details are available at this time.

Spoodles at the Boardwalk will have a minor kitchen renovation beginning May 11 through May 29, 2009. The restaurant will be open for a limited breakfast, but dinner will not be served. The Boardwalk Spoodles Pizza window will remain open.

I know that I wrote in my first post that I am not the type of person to plan to much in advance. The main reason for this is that I get so excited, my adrenalin (sp) flows, my stomach does flips, my hands sweat, my hair curls and my mascara melts. I wait excitingly, like most people, for this trip everytime it comes. It never gets old. Right now I am looking for new summer tops to buy and a new bathingsuit (my dsis#1 is thin I am not!!!). It is snowing out and about 23 degree's so its alittle difficult to get in the right mood to look through the catalogs. I will have to pop in one of our trips to Disney in the dvd and see the palm trees swaying, the beautiful pool, and me sitting pool side with a nice tropical drink.

My Dh and I are going to be on the "Quick Service" dining plan. We were on the full dining plan last trip but we found that it was just too much food for the two of us. Also, when it is just the two of us we really do not plan ahead for every day that we are in Disney. We do have certain traditions though which I will include more specifically in my report later. This is why its going to be nice to have some of my Dsis#1's plans in place for all of us when we're all together.

Well back to the catalogs and my three cats who are down for their usual afternoon nap, one of many of their naps throughout the day. Oh.. I do have some housework (my day off) I'm surprised I even know how to spell housework. Its not always at the top of my to do list. I also have to think about dinner......hmmmm and what place we'll order out from. I should say that I do make my own spaghetti sauce so all is not lost on me as a loving housewife.:laundy: lol.

Well, if anyone besides my sister reads this thank you. I enjoyed typing it. I really will have more to write later and it will be about my DH and I and the specific traditions we have on our Disney trip. Like that first walk down Main Street and seeing that beautiful CASTLE IN THE SKY.

I haven't told my Dsis#1 this yet but, our dear mother just called to offer to take care of our three cats while DH and I are on vacation with Magicaldisney11 and nephews. My dad used to take care of them, but he passed away this year(I really miss him and not just because he would take care of my cats) and my other cat helper nephew Adam, oops forgot his Disney name went into the service. The rest of my family are pretty much allergic to them. Yes I will start cleaning my house now. My mom keeps a beautiful home, mine is a little more carefree you could say.

Also DH and I added three more nights to our vacation and will be staying at CSR. I'm pretty excited. We have never stayed there and we have never gone to check CSR out as we usually check out one of the resorts if we haven't stayed there. We are just going to chill out and relax those last couple of days. I don't know if we were able to use our AP discount or the pin number to get the price we got. The interesting thing was that even though we were hoping to just stay on at PFQ the price of the room went up almost $100.00 per night and we were not able to use our discounts there after our original check out date. So we e-mailed Shirley from "Dreams Unlimited" and she is WONDERFUL she does all of our Disney vacations for us (except when we stay at our OKW vacation club) we have worked with her for about eight years I think. Anyhow, I have heard good and bad as with all things about this resort but I'm still excited about staying there.

Isn't my DH wonderful to extend our trip and ooohhh......did I mention that he'll be on his annual golf trip before I get down to Disney and will meet him there? Yea you get the picture now don't you? I gave him that golf trip as a Christmas gift in 1990, I didn't know it was "the gift that just keeps on giving" as cousin Eddie would say from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Let's just say our friends wives were not that happy with me when I started the whole golf trip thing that included their husbands too. Of course they can't understand how we can go to Disney on all of our vacations (we are lucky enough to have a vacation club). Its just our favorite place to be when we want to have a good time with lots of stuff to do and don't have to worry about most things when you go under that beautiful purple arch that says "WELCOME TO DISNEY WORLD" and our friend MICKEY MOUSE IS WAVING HIS BIG WHITE GLOVED HAND TO WELCOME YOU. I will add in all fairness that my DH does work very hard and always has his laptop with him to do some type of work when we go on vacation.

We also learned that by changing our flights to a different departure date on SouthWest our flights actually went down so we did get a break there.

My DH and I realize how so blessed we are for what we have and what we can do in our life that so many people cannot. Although we were not blessed with children of our own we try to be with our nieces and nephews as much as we can, so being able to go to Disney with them is always very special.

That's enought for tonight and I promise that I will try to post sometype of a schedule of what I think our trip will be with my Dsis#1 also known as Magicaldisney11.

Have a good night and if anyone is going to Disney tomorrow have a safe trip and have Fun!!!

God Bless,

7susan7
