So, my husband and I are going in October. We will be at the parks October 29, 30, 31. We can get the all inclusive package for 2 days of the trip. The one that gets fast passes for all the rides. I would actually like to do that even knowing how hideously expensive it is because this will be a once in a lifetime trip for us. Is it weird to do it for 2 days and just buy a regular ticket for 1 day? We would stay at the same hotel the entire time. Hopefully they wouldn’t make us switch rooms.
If we book the package that has 2 park days and only 1 hotel room night how hard is it to get park tickets, since it will be halloweeen day we don’t have the unlimited passes for. I wish they offered a one day unlimited thing, but it doesn't appear that they do.
When we initially booked the unlimited thing didn’t show up at all, it was just today that it showed up, but it.was only available for the one night option.
I still have our other reservations, including the hotel for the night before and the last night of our trip. Should Imkeep the unlimited one I booked today and just add one more night and keep an eye out for when tickets go on sale for Halloween?

So, should we keep the package and just book hotel for the other 2 nights? Will it be easy to get tickets for the park on Halloween?

Only a few days a year actually sell out and typically the tickets will last until a couple days before the actual date. If you're worried about it, buy the tickets for Halloween at least a couple weeks in advance.

I thought guests staying at Disney hotels were guaranteed the ability to purchase tickets at the hotel for any day of their stay.

Thank you, for my own peace of mind I will buy plenty in advance.

I was wondering that, but I will buy tickets as soon as I can just because I don't want to worry about it.

From the official website

Purchase your Park tickets at the hotel to enjoy the Parks during your stay

Hotel guests can purchase Park tickets to use during their stay, even if they are sold out on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website.

Yeah. I forgot about that since it was suspended for a while during the pandemic. So I actually don't know what the process is for that right now.

It’s crazy yiu can only buy a 2 day unlimited package with 1 hotel night. I’d like at least 4 nights 3 day ticket.

About 60% of guests to TDL/TDS are just from the Kanto area, and 85-90% from Japan overall according to OLC's statistics. This makes it a total Japanese park. And foreigners by country visits (not tied to TDL/TDS in particular) for 2024 were: Korea at 24% (of all inbound tourists), Mainland China at 19%, and Taiwan at 16%. So, they are not catering to a US audience which has been conditioned to "theme park" for the better part of a week.
