Vacation Package Modifications

We have previously booked our trips for DL through Costco (who doesn’t like a free lanyard?). For our next trip my Sister and her boyfriend may come with us but they already have tickets from their trip that was cancelled last year when the parks shut down.

Anyone know if you book with Costco, Walt Disney Travel, can you modify after to delete some tickets? The packages require a ticket for every guest on the reservation.

To my knowledge booked packages have to include tickets for all guests included.

The last time I checked there was virtually no difference in price between Costco/AAA packages and packages booked with WDTC directly. WDTC gives you a lanyard, too. In fact, I've stopped using Costco or AAA and book everything with WDTC directly.

And I have heard of people who have booked direct with WDTC not having to include tickets if they have an AP but I don't know if they'd do the same if a guest said they already had a 'regular' ticket.

I also know of people who have added additional guests to their room (since it doesn't increase the room price) but I don't know if that room was booked as a package or not.

I think you have to get tickets for everyone in the room on the package. My friend booked a trip for last November and about a month before I decided to join her there. When she called to add me to the room she had to get me a 6 day ticket (same as her and her kids) even though I would only be there using 4 days.
