Vacation on a Disney Visa - 6 Months No Interest?

Has anyone ever done this? Can you just book online (a package with tickets, hotel & dining plan)? Will it all just be automatically put into a separate category from the rest of your purchases and be charged no interest? TIA!

We have done this twice. We use our Visa for gas purchases and pay it off at the end of each month so aside from the vacation purchase we didn't carry a balance. Your monthly payments will be deducted from your regular (non-vacation) balance first and anything you pay over the balance gets deducted from your vacation (interest free) balance.

We booked on line with Disney both times and it was automatic.

It will be on a separate part of the statement. Usually you pay the $200 deposit when you book. You will have 6 months to pay that off. Then you will have a separate amount for the balance and that will be dated from 6 months of that payment.

We always pay the regular balance in full each month and the interest free balance sits out there. Make sure you watch that balance though because if you make a return at a store or something they will apply that to the 0% interest balance instead of the regular balance so that 0% total may go down.

If all you have on the card is the 0% money make sure you make the minimum payment each month or you will lose your 0%!

We are annual passholders and didn't read the fine print. For our 10 day vacation in November, we put the room and dining on the card expecting it to quality for the 6 months same as cash. It didn't because it wasn't a package! Chase was very nice about it and offered to give us the 6 months same as cash anyway, but we elected to just pay it.
