Vacation Home with Community Pool?

We were thinking of trying a vacation home rental next year, instead of staying at a condo in Vistana, (which we love).

I would like a home with a pool and hot tub, but I also want to have a "club-house & Community Pool", so that the kids can interact with other kids. My daughter loves meeting "friends" at the pools. My sons like having an arcade.

Is there any such place?

My main reason for wanting to try a vacation home, is so that my husband and I can relax in our own hot-tub in the evenings. I never felt comfortable leaving the condo at night while the kids were sleeping, and even if we did, most nights the hot-tubs at Vistana were full of teenagers!

Any advice??

Absolutely! Windsor Palms fits what you are looking for. It is a gated community of 2 and 3 bed condos, 3 bed townhomes and 3-6 bed pool homes. There is a nice community pool used by the folks in the condos and townhomes (some of them have splash pools) but the pool home people can use it too. The clubhouse also has a few arcade games, pool table, exercise room, theater and store. Very nice homes. Nice but simple pool (no fancy slides or anything). We stayed there in November and it was wonderful.

We just made our booking arrangements with an owner at Vistapark Resort..5bdr, 6 bath, 3 mstr suites for two weeks. Cannot wait!!!

Hi Emerald Island as well as Windsor Palms have community pools. These are the closest and the newsest to Disney. Many of the other developemtents have community pools. I know Hampton Lakes, Bass Lake, Calabray Park out on hwy 27 also have community pools.

At Winsor Palms and Emerald Island there is a good chance of lots more kids as these pools serve the many condos. The homes on 27 are homes only and people may stick a lot closer to their own pool...

We also liked the idea of our kids meeting others to play with, which is why we booked at Windsor Palms.

Here is the house I'm renting. This is a virtual tour of the 6 bedroom, but the 4 bedroom virtual tour can be seen too if you press the " View My Additional Listings" button. This guy has been not but pleasurable to work with. He takes paypal payments (which are extremely earlier to send monies - and monies are trackable). His deposit is only $150, which goes toward your balance, he allows you to make sporatic payments (for those of a budget) and even though he lives in the UK somewhere he must live near his computer, because he has answered EVERY question I've asked within minutes. I'm looking forward to our stay here soon!!!
