What a joke. They must be desperate to fill those locations otherwise why the slim selection?
They're very good at getting people into their parks. We're going to Epic for the grand opening May 22-26, and were going to fly home on the 26th until...we heard that the new Villains and Mermaid musical productions will debut on May 27th. It's hard to resist "Enter the realm of the Magic Mirror—where dozens of villains are trapped" and "This fin-tastic tale is enhanced with stunning set pieces and cutting-edge effects that capture Ariel’s imagination and emotions".u would really think disney would do more since epic is opened during this time.
Disney Tourist Blog's write-up had a good reminder Toledo isn't open Mon-Tues so keep that in mind those planning to hit that one!
He also seems to speculate more could be to come as last year everything wasn't announced all at once (dining discount didn't come out until mid-May). So, maybe we'll see something more interested after all.
I am really hoping Bricker is right on this one because otherwise this is lame as hell and specifically feels like a slap to the face of out of state APs who do weekend trips, which is a lot of us. I have one planned in July and this does nothing for me. But even our trip next month these are useless for. A far cry from a couple years ago when we got 20% off 'Ohana and CRT and my gf got an Orange Bird spirit jersey from Flower & Garden for like $25 stacking the AP discount with the clearance sale.Disney Tourist Blog's write-up had a good reminder Toledo isn't open Mon-Tues so keep that in mind those planning to hit that one!

- I've booked and cancelled and not sure about Cape May Cafe, is it worth the detour to our plans?
- Tusker seems redundant in just a few days, might do that on June trip with other DS.
I think most would agree with you. --- But DS#1 is disabled. We did this years ago and it was very echo loud, and getting our food was difficult with just two of us. I know probably just off day but characters skipped us and it was an ordeal to get them to come back. Just left bad taste. AND he would much prefer their breakfast which is not an option. He doesn't even know it's there it is so hidden so never asked to go again.Honestly, if I had to pick a character meal from these options, this is the one I'd go with. Never had a bad experience there.
That would be wonderful!Hope they have some fall offerings!
That seems to be the consensus, but don’t want to change our AK day to get the discount…. We are thinking come in in the morning, see the new shows, catch Muppets one more time if it is still there, enjoy H&V lunch, and head back to the hotel for the afternoon nap and pool time….Honestly, if I had to pick a character meal from these options, this is the one I'd go with. Never had a bad experience there.
I think this is my favorite quote response as it sums up what I thought when I read the discount. Well this is lame. lolI am really hoping Bricker is right on this one because otherwise this is lame as hell and specifically feels like a slap to the face of out of state APs who do weekend trips, which is a lot of us.
It is about pushing people to where there are weaknesses in the system - and the weakness appears to be with young families. Look at where promotions are centered this summer - especially promotions with high value:I think this is my favorite quote response as it sums up what I thought when I read the discount. Well this is lame. lol
I am glad it will work for some people! Character meal prices at a lower price point is a good thing. However, there isn't one of these places I would go out of my way for.
Also they split it up by dates! So basically 5 places out of how many restaurants on site get a discount? And merchandise discount online only? It just feels like a PR afterthought.
