V Australia.....your opinion please!

Another for V. We had a good flight return to US-I found economy seats marginally harder than Qantas economy (but seemed slightly wider and more roomier than our last Qantas flight-not sure plane differences). Entertainment was very good, service was very good, food was very good-and if you get an old plane with Qantas which is still a possibility then there is no comparison-V every time. LAX is crap but I am still not sure we will survive 16hrs to Dallas on Qantas without a break-we all get very very ropeable after 14hrs straight-just not good long distance travellers I guess - and none of us can sleep really-too uncomfortable or start to feel airsick etc.

We flew V Australia (economy) to LAX and Virgin America for our internal flights. Were very impressed with both. Planes were nice and new and the inflight entertainment was great. Staff were great - while everyone's sleeping they disappear a bit, but you can always press the little buzzer if you really need something. Would always choose them over Qantas if possible.

here. We thought they were great. We had lovely cabin crew. Probably more so on the way home.

Big fan of V and a couple of years ago switched all our company business over.

Flew Qantas for a family trip to use up the end of our qantas ff points and it really hit home how much better V are in absolutely every way. Seats in Qantas are much closer, better service at the airport, much better service on planes, better food and better entertainment.

I would strongly recommend them over Qantas

Having travelled on many airlines, V Australia is certainly my favourite and will be flying with them again in Dec to LA. The seats are great, the in-flight entertainment is fantastic, the staff are wonderful and they have some great food options. I personally struggle with plane food and was able to get a meal with fresh fruit and vegetables instead of the meat/chicken along with the other snacks, e.g a roll, ect. It was fantastic to have this option on the plane. They also have a snack bar where you can go and get chips, sandwhiches, ect. Also instead of having to ask everytime you needed a drink of water they gave everyone a water bottle. There were stations were you could fill them up whenever you wanted which was wonderful.

Can't wait to fly with them again!

Thanks so much to everyone who responded! I thought I may get a couple of responses, but this has just been fantastic

It really makes a difference when you know before hand that you will have a decent trip over and back, especially when flying economy!

I will be sure to let you all know what we thought but if this thread is anything to go by, I don't think we will be disappointed!
