V&A's Chef's Table

We just ate at the Chef's Table on Saturday, April 26th. The meal took well over 3 hours for us. But we weren't in any rush to get back to the kids. This was our first trip without them since they were born! :) This is not the type of meal that you want to rush anyway. There are more courses than the main dining room. And it is wonderful to sit and talk with the head chef. We were so lucky to have Scott Hunnel as our head chef that night!

The regular meal is generally 2¼-2½ hours or about 20+ minutes per course (for the 7 course meal). If you go by this, you are looking at at least 3½ to 4 hours for the ten course DT.

1) And two days if you get the full 47-course festival banquet meal.
2) Of course, combined with the winer paring, the time seems to fly.
3) Or, at least the time that I can remember after all the wine.

It was just my husband and myself. But I'm sure that it can be booked alone. If you book it, no matter the party size, it's yours for the night. I say do it! :)

I'm so jealous. I tried to get the chef's table for our trip in October and it was booked. I am excited about our meal in the regular dining room though.

Enjoy!!

How far out do they contact you to ask your likes and dislikes?

they were all booked up between Sept 12 and 22nd when I just called, plus they said it has to be a minimum of 2 people

and I even said I am just one person, tht was willing to pay for the 2 people, but they said 2 people minimum lol
