Has anyone ever had the IPO try to book the chef’s table at V&A’s?
Today was my 90 day mark for my dining reservations. Except I thought that the chef’s table had to be booked exactly at 90 days to the date you are trying to get? Which for me is December 12th making my 90 day mark this Sunday the 13th.
Well today the IPO emailed me my list of ADR’s and said they were not able to get the chef’s table but put me on the waitlist. This is where I became really confused. How could it be booked already if the 90 day mark hasn’t even happened yet??? Another thing that confused me/worried me was that they booked one set of ADR’s in the chance I would get the chef’s table and they booked another set in the case that I didn’t, but now on 3 days I am double booked! Now I am worried that my reservations will be cancelled on those days. I was just wondering if anyone out there had a similar situation happen or just some words of advice, cause right now I am really confused and worried.

The IPO most likely has pull that you do not and can book it 90+10 (even though they weren't able to get it for you).

I really wouldn't worry about it - they know what they're doing. My experience has been the IPO office (I've only dealt with the Poly) do an excellent job with ADRs.
