required? I'm planning on trying it on my next trip, but need to know what to pack. Does business casual work? Since I'm staying at the AKL, and doing the Limo to and from the airport, elegant may change our minds since our intention is to stick with Disney transportation.

Yes a jacket is required (but tie is optional). My husband and I had dinner at V & A's the day after our wedding (and we did use the disney transportation). It is well worth dressing up for, and you won't look too out of place around dinner time using resort transportation all dressed up -- others go out to dinner too! The food at V & A's is beyond explaination, don't let the dress code make you think twice!

We dressed all up and rode the monorail from the Contemporary, then back all the way past the MK. Suit for my husband, dressy dress and heels for me. It was kind of fun. I'm sure we made everyone wonder what we were up to.

Tie is optional, but the overwhelming majority of men wear them.
They do have jackets available at V&A (blue blazers), but I should note that if the "rest of you" isn't dressed for a jacket, it tends to look rather silly---. Last trip we saw a fellow in dark brown pants, pink ban-lon shirt, who showed up w/o a jacket. His blue blazer they gave him to wear didn't seem to go all too well with that combination:D
