I have seen information about V&A scattered all over the place, but does someone have the information together? For the main area, chef's table, or the queen's room, ...

number of tables?
seating times?
length of time for the experience?
number of courses?
cost? wine pairing cost?

I am having trouble deciding if we want to do this, and then when I do think about it, can't decide which experience we want. We had lots of fun at the chef's counter at the Napa Rose, and this would be our first visit to V&A. The dress code worried me; not that it exists, but having to pack extra clothes, and get to our hotel room at the AKL and back to change.

And I read there's only like 14 tables and the chef visits each one... so then I'm wondering if that will be great enough and not worry about the other experiences. Or would we be missing out? Please advise.

Hi!

I don't have a ton of information for you, but I actually just got back from there and stayed at the GF. We did V&A for 2, with wine pairings for both meals and it was really really fun. We ate in the main room, there were I think about 9 courses, and some seriously delicious homemade breads and dessert. It took us about 3 hours to get through everything so make sure you plan! our reservation was at 830 i believe and we got out of there at 1120ish. If you like wine, the pairings are really fun to try and they don't skimp on the amount so its very worth it. the wine pairings I believe are about 60 dollars extra per person. We also chose to get kobe beef for one of our entrees and it was 30 dollars extra per person as well. I think our final bill was around 550 dollars. Jackets for men are a MUST. the atmosphere is very very quiet, theres a woman playing the harp, the lights are very dim except for candlelight. it's worth the experience so if you're fortunate enough to be able to go, i say do it!!
