UUGGHHHH Another Monday........

I wonder if I would feel the same if the week started on a Tuesday
or a Thursday

I would be the same 7 days
but something about the word Monday makes me just wanna
crawl back in bed and pull the covers over my head


Hope today is the start of a Great week for you all

I have always wondered if I would like it better if I worked Tues. through Sat.?!? Mondays are just not my favorite days!

I always dread Mondays too.. The kids just are so hard to get up on Monday.. It's like they dread the idea of a week of getting up early!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.. Since my ds5 is still sleeping and it's been quiet on here last night.. I'm going to go sneak in another nap.. My oldest babies are already on the bus headed to school. Yes, we have a horrible school days.. 7:30am - 2:30pm.. Our kids have learned to be early birds!!

5 Weeks of school left! I am off to work in Pre-K today, then again, it's the only place I work! I hope y'all have a great day!

When do your kids get out? We are at May 26th..which will lead to a great weekend.. it's Memorial Day weekend and my DS now 9.. has his 10th birthday that weekend! We go back mid-August every year.. This year our poor kids start on a Friday(8/18).. I'm sure that is going to help with my kindergartner next fall.. Get him in a routine only to have it blown in one day!!

We were supposed to be finished the 24th, but because of all the hurricane days we missed we also go until the 26th. We are on a similar schedule as you, we start back 8/14.

Man ya'll get out early! We get out June 20th of course we have 4 snow days to make up but we also don't go back until 8/30 this year.

How much time do you get off for christmas and spring break? Do you get February vacation?

We go back the Tues after Labor day
and we stay in school until June 23

We have a week off between Christmas and New Years
a week off in Feb and a week after Easter

February breaks! What's that...

We get 2 weeks off at Christmas.. They literally let them out.. on the Friday before Christmas.. so we get out Dec. 22nd..and we return back to school on Jan. 8th. We get 2 days for Thanksgiving.. First week in April for Spring break... 5 built in snow days.. so if we don't use them the kids get those days off school. We have used our snow days in 3 years.

So, this fall we start school Aug. 18 ~ A Friday..
Than in the fall of 2007 we start school on Aug 17th.. a Friday again...

We out the Friday before Memorial Day the next 2 years from the school calendars...

Gee Nancy maybe I should live near you. We don't get any snow days built in although we've had 4 days for the last 2 years. We do get 3 days in Feb starting with Presidents day but only 1 week at christmas.

Back to school on a Friday??? We do Wednesday and I thought that was bad enough.

I just love today. I got up at 6 and said good bye to DH and 2 DDs. they were heading up north a 4 hour drive to help pack up and say fare well one last time to my inlaws cottage, now sold. I went back to bed I think untill around 11, very quiet around here, I should be cleaning but nope,I am here with all my friends.

We had a Wed. start 2 years ago... I complained to my Dh.. the next 2 years we started on Monday.. good start.. now for the next 2 years we are starting on Friday.. I just don't understand.. how can you get the kids into a routine with one day of school.. and yipee.. the Weekend.!!
