Utter Dismay at Virgin prices

Sorry just had to come on here and say we finally got our flights Glasgow to mco with aerlingus. £1562 for two adults booking the priority seats with extra leg room. 12th October to 26th.
Cheaper to go from Glasgow than Edinburgh. :)

Just thought I would let people know as they have only just released the flights for these dates today and being October holidays I'm pretty pleased with that price.

I noticed a few night ago they had added late Oct and Dec to the MAN~BOS route. I have been checking 10-19th then 17th-26th, the later dates only just coming online this week. Dec thru Jan dates I checked are also no available.
I don't have much experience with Boston Oct are £522pp, Dec-Jan £650, might wait a bit.

Well they do have sales on occasions so it might be worth holding on for those. We just wanted ot make sure that we got the flights and the exit rows for DH to be comfortable. They do go up and down on occasion so its worth just checking constantly. The Scotland flights were only just released for the dates we wanted today.
Its a tiny bit more than what we have paid before all in with the exit seats max £100 of a difference so we are pretty darn happy about that. Given the other options were double or more :scared1:

Just looked as I was double checking and the flights have gone up in price already just goes to show early bird and all that.

Hi All

We have not booked our flights yet for July, but started looking and the cheapest direct flight to and from Miami (going to drive up after seeing the Keys) is around £1100 each, there are 5 of us.

The flights are getting ridiculous, I know this sounds barmy but if you had got the time available, it is now comparable to cruise across from Southampton and back.

The actual accom and deals that Disney are doing make the actual holiday itself quite affordable when you look at what you get, but the flights are bloody stupid prices.

Your so right, a cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale 13 nights start from £499 Thats amazing just think of all that extra legroom:scratchin

The food would beat even Upper class flight food.

Downside a one way flight home would probably cost as much as a return flight, only thing for it..... another 13 night cruise home.:rotfl:

Hi :wave2:

Ive not read through the entire thread, so someone may have suggested. I got our virgin flights through ebookers for £300 cheaper than going through virgin directly. Hope this helps and you find a good deal x

You have to pay extra for the food if you want it. Not something I would consider, we would rather eat before boarding or take our own food unless flying business class.
No idea about entertainment, I just listen to my own music and sleep.
Hopefully someone will post who has already tried their service.

Food is included it's just the expensive better quality meal you have to pay for.

Someone told me in another thread, good to know:thumbsup2

Must admit I thought that as well but hence the double check I mentioned. For what it's worth the food was ok not spectacular but better than some I have had. The paid options look nice though. You know about the free soft drinks.
We plan like yourselves and eat before we fly but boredom makes me eat lol.
Once you clear immigration at Dublin there is a cafe that sells limited snacks etc. DH said the coffee was good.
