Utilizing FP+ if we also need to use Rider Swap

Okay, my party includes myself, DH, my father, DD (8), DS (6) and DS (1). I plan to get FP+ for all three of the adults and the 2 older children. My question is, when we go to get on a ride where the baby cannot go on, how does the rider swap come into play? My husband and I want to both ride with the kids, and my father will stay with the baby while we go on, but when it's time for him to ride I know he wants to ride with the kids, too. But will we be able to get a rider swap pass for my father, who will be staying behind with the baby, so that he can take the 2 older kids on a second time? I don't know if this is going to work, I don't feel like we're taking advantage or going against the rules, we're not trying to stretch out FP+'s or anything, I just want to make sure that my dad will be able to ride with my kids on the handful of rides that we'll be using FP+ that the baby cannot go on (Big Thunder, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain to name a few). Will CM's allow my father to use the rider swap pass ?

There is a similar thread already running

But you can do fast pass for all who ride first, and then the rider swap pass (show baby at entrance when redeeming fp) is good for any 3 people to come back
