Utilidor System on TV ? ? ?

I have always loved the behind the scenes of everything . . . I even love the show Unwrapped to see how my favorite candies and foods are created!

My Mom told me of a show she saw on TV (she believes the Travel Channel) about Disney's Utilidor system. It may have been a portion of the entire show, I am not sure. But I was so facinated by that, that I would love to watch the program if it is shown again.

However, she does not remember what the show's name was! Do any of you recall this? I have already signed up for a tour when I go in the Fall but would love to see this program (or at least know what to look for in the TV program guide).

Thanks! I knew if anyone would know, some of my Disney buddies would!

There may have been flashing glances/stock footage, and the utilidor certainly may have been mentioned. However, it was not the subject of an entire TV show. Travel Channel has done several "behind the scenes" specials on the WDW parks in the last couple of years, and often they repackage bits of information in multiple programs.

My Mom said that the whole show was not about the Utilidors, but a part of the show was. She said it was really cool!

If anyone has any idea on which program it was I would certainly like to know. I love seeing fun stories like this. Like I said before, watching the show "Unwrapped" is one of my favorites! I love watching how things are created.

So if any more of you Disney buffs know which show my Mom saw, or which channel (like the Travel Channel), let me know!

You can do a search on the Travel Channel looking for WDW shows. See if the descriptions sound familiar to your mom. If not there is an area where you can "ask the expert". They not only will let you know what show(s) might be of interest to you but they will tell you when they will be on!!!

Oprah did a show once on the behind the scenes, it showed a lot of the utilidor, backstage areas etc. It was great!

It was probably 5-6 years ago though...
