UT Tickets Linking them

Someone mentioned that you can link them right up. Just checking what I'm doing wrong.....

We have email confirmation that includes.... a customer id number and a confirmation number. I tried entering both in MDExperience and neither worked.


Am I missing something? Earlier someone mentioned that you can link them right away with the email...

Any suggestions...

Wait until you get the tickets, then enter the number on each ticket into MDE.

I have read that you can do that with tickets purchased from Disney, but not those purchased from UT. We had some UT tickets, and I scanned the bar code within the app on my phone and we were good to go!

UT usually ships pretty quickly. I am always impressed by how soon they show up.

Yep you have to wait for the tickets and enter the ID on the back. Just a note...if the people in your group have their own MDE account you may not be able to see their ticket once you enter it. They have to adjust the permissions on their account. We had to call Disney IT (who were very helpful!) to figure this out!

We just went through this. UT sends you actual tickets so you need to wait for them to link them. If you ordered elsewhere, they might be vouchers in which case you get a confirmation number which can be used to book your fastpasses. The vouchers are for 'will call' so Disney has a record of them, whereas they don't have a record for places that send you real tickets.

I had called Disney before I purchased my tickets from UT to make sure I could link them with the confirmation info. I was told I would have to contact the Disney IT department and they would link the tickets for me. I purchased the UT tickets, called Disney's IT department only to be told that the CM I spoke to in the beginning had been mistaken. If they are vouchers, then Disney IT can help link them, but if you are being sent real tickets, you need to wait for them to arrive.
