Since I'm new to the boards I'll apologise in advance if this thread has been done to death in the past, but I was wondering what people's thoughts were on USO Vs Universal Hollywood?
I was there last year, only for a few hours when passing through, and we managed to fit in RoTM, JP, BTTF and Shrek 4D. Shrek and BTTF were virtually the same as USO (Although the queue area for BTTF was different - in fact I would go as far to say USO's was way better) but I noticed differences in JP and RoTM that made a difference to my enjoyment on the rides.
First, I must admit that I thought USH's JP was actually better! I loved how there were two T-Rexes and the second one gives you more of a fright than at USO since it comes at you at the last second. I still love the Orlando version and will ride it loads when I go this year, but Hollywood's just seemed to appeal to me more.
I didn't find RotM as enjoyable, though. They don't have the fake unload station and the ride just seemed so much shorter than when I was on it at USO in '04. It was still fun, but I get the feeling they decided the one in Orlando was the Daddy so they spent more moolah on it. The queue area in USO is more elaborate as well.
Anyone have any thoughts?
