Using your AirMiles

Wow! Unfortunately there are not a lot of places in Kitchener that collect airmiles. No IGA around here. I could collect airmiles when I get gas but the closest gas station that collect AM is sooo far out of my way!

Good for those of you who collect so many of them.

The easiest way to collect is to get an airmiles credit card. We accumulate 200-300/month using our mastercard. And we shop at Metro.....so it all adds up! We get a 7 day hopper every 10 months or so

I can usually get a minimum of 200 every week at Safeway and have been known to get up to 800 on some shopping trips. I also get about 300 a month from the Mastercard. I get 30 a month from the airmiles yahoo search and usually a few from Zellers/The Bay/Shell.

I can usually get enough every year for 4 flights, 4 Disney passes and sometimes Universal/Seaworld passes. Gotta to love air miles!

Well I guess the easiest would be to get an AM m/c since we don't have a safeway or a iga. What is Metro? A gas station?

I hadn't heard about this before. Thanks for the tip. I've downloaded it and installed it and have started doing searches. 300 a month for 30 airmiles shouldn't be too hard.

Brighteyes - Metro is the new name of the A&P/Dominion chains in Ontario. MEtro Que grocery chain bought them out a while ago and now all the A&Ps and Dominions are changing their names.
