using wishes & paying for the childs meal?

I know alot of our meals we will use the wishes and pay for my dd6 but what is the proper way to state this with the server so it doesn't get done wrong or worse yet we get double charged (wishes & $)? Any ideas will be much obliged!

Great question. I know alot of people say that is what they do. Maybe seperate checks.

When you are first sat, tell the server you will be using Wishes for the adults and cash for the child. When you order dessert, just remind the server and it should be no problem. All they have to do is split the kids meal off onto its own check. Takes about 10 seconds.
