Using WDW tickets at DLR

Has anyone recently used unused WDW tickets at CA or DL? We just returned from WDW and have two days left on our tickets. Would love to hit Carsland this week before they expire. Can we do this? Thanks!

Yes. Take them to the gate and they will exchange them one day at a time. If you have PHs you will get a PH.

I guess WDW pluses don't get you anything at DLR? I've got like 5 pluses remaining on non-expiring tickets, but we moved from Illinois to CA, so not sure when we get back to WDW

We used our extra tickets when we returned from our last trip in early February. You bring your ticket to the gate and let them know you're using a WDW ticket. They will call a customer service manager and he/she will contact WDW to make sure the tickets are still valid and return with a one day pass for each person. If your original tickets are park hoppers you will get park hoppers. Have fun!

not done this but will be doing this next month. I have been following threads on the site and pretty much every response is that the tickets are day of only.

I can think of some valid reasons for this.

This is really useful to know! I have a similar question - instead of a WDW ticket with unused days on it (ie a 5-day ticket with 2 days unused), what if the WDW ticket is a 1-day only ticket that hasn't been used at all? Do you think that we could still exchange it for 1 day at a DL park?
