Does anyone know if there is a list of dining venues that accept VISA Rewards and Disney gift cards for payment at DLR? I don't think VISA or the cards have any specific info on this- just " Disney owned" places that can process a credit card. Anything less vague available? I'm planning my first trip to DLR and would like to take advantage of my reward points and gift cards. Thanks for any help!

We've used our Disney Rewards dollars and Disney gift cards all throughout DL and DCA. They are accepted pretty much everywhere, which I know still sounds vague, but trust me, you'll have no problem using them. Now, DTD is another story. Not all of the stores, restaurants, and kiosks are Disney-owned, so someone else will have to weigh in here. But in the parks, they can be used anyplace where a credit card can be swiped, even most kiosks/carts. They can also be used for park admission.

On a side note, sometimes the cards don't "swipe", so the CM has to key in the number on the back of the card, but we've never had a card rejected or deemed "unusable."

If any of my info is incorrect, I'm sure a fellow DISer will right the wrong. ;)

I have never had a problem using my Disney Visa rewards card at any dining location in Disneyland or California Adventure. Compass Books and Cafe in Downtown Disney would not accept it though.

I really thank you for including that. There's someone on other forums who keeps talking about how if the strip demagnetizes, all your money will be lost....it's just so far from the truth. Since I seem to demagnetize those strips (and my natural ability was enhanced last year by a powerful magnet in a purse I was using, ugh) on my own, I know very well how easy it is, once you actually convince the CM to do it and stop trying to swipe it, for them to just type in the numbers!

And we've always been able to show our Disney Visa to get the discount but pay w/giftcards...which I thought was cool.

I think they've changed that now...one of the many changes that happened when they started the Disney Debit card and gave them (er, *us*) the same perks as the Visa holders.
