Using UK discounts

I am wondering how it would work if I try to utilize a UK discount. I'm pretty tempted with the current deal for SSR + free dining + ultimate ticket.

My brother lives in London so I can use his address.

But what kind of "proof" would I be required to show in the resort?

I think your payment card needs to registered in the UK.

Also be aware our change and cancellation policies are a lot stricter than WDTC US.

Checking in we have only been asked for photo ID - we provided our UK driving licence so not sure if they are look specifically for UK ID

Same as above, UK address & credit card should be all you need.

Not a US CC, Sorry I should have said you need a UK or EU CC.
If you go thru to the payment page you can see the list of 28 countries they will accept CC payment from.
By all means try, I could be wrong but I suspect it will deny the reservation with a US card, there is no option to enter a US billing address.
Just seen you used a US card, I assumed a EU card with your location, how did you enter a US address?

Yes that would work the problem others will have is the billing address page has no option for any address outside the EU, it lists 28 countries, if its not in that list I don't see a way around it.

which is why the OP will have to use her brother's credit card - the billing address cannot be in the US..
(assuming of course that her brother has a UK billing address on his CC...)

i've gone through that discussion with disney UK...
you need a UK/european mailing address as well as a UK/european CC billing address...

Now I gotta decide if the upgrade costs from pop to SSR for about $500 is worth it.
