Anyone know if there is a way to use points transferred into your membership WITHOUT having to call Member Service? (using online chat or email perhaps)? Thx!

None that I know of, sorry. You cancel a reservation you made with them online , but that's it. If you want to make a reservation with them, I'd call (using a speakerphone while I was on hold & while I did something else, LOL).

If you want to substitute transferred points into an existing reservation, It's worth a try to use chat and/or online. Chat may or may not be available, and email responses are reportedly taking a long, long time right now (a week or two or three). If your reservation is several months away, you might not mind the wait. I'd probably just want to get it over with and if chat wouldn't or couldn't do it, I'd call.

Good luck!

Thx carol.. Do you know if the person who makes the call HAS to be the owner? (can you mom/son/friend etc ) make the call FOR you?

Member or designated associate members on the account are only ones who can make, cancel, or modify reservations.

Are those people associates on the receiving account? If they are, then yes. If not, then no.
