Newbies who want to start conversions, or post an avatar, need at least 10 posts to gain those options.

What is the point of requiring a number of posts before you can do things like posting pictures if you can get around the requirement by doing things like this? I would guess that the original requirement was there so new posters had real posts before they could do more but simply allowing multiple "test" posts to meet the requirement seems silly.

To make sure that new members are not just a spambot. It takes some effort to post 10 random posts. Computers haven't figured that out ..... yet.
