Using the same colors, over and over?

Do you find yourself using the same colors alot in you albums? I usually just try to compliment the colors in my pictures, but I've noticed in my Disney album, I've used a lot of teal, red, and yellow. Seems like every time I turn around I'm using those colors in this album, and I noticed because I keep running out of them.

I don't use a lot of pink, but I have two boys and no girls, maybe that's why....

Ah, well, back to scrapping, if I'm ever going to get this album finished!

I've done a couple of themed albums where I intentionally used a 3-color scheme. But I have noticed that I use lots of greens. It's my favorite color and I think I take a lot of outdoor shots and green seems to compliment them. I use lots of blue and black (especially for sports layouts) too.

Since the majority of the albums I've done are somewhat themed (Boy Scouts, football, etc) yes, those tend to have a similar color scheme. And it can become challenging to keep them from getting boring.

I'm presently working on DS's high school album and have been able to mix it up, probably because the activities are more varied.
